KNOXVILLE, TN — Industrial tech startup EVRCOOL® has officially stepped into the global spotlight. Co-founder Josh Roby pitched EVRCOOL’s eco-friendly, high-efficiency industrial process chillers on Meet the Drapers, the world’s largest pitch competition series.
The episode, filmed in Nashville in partnership with LaunchTN, featured EVRCOOL competing for a slice of an investment pool that includes at least one $1 million grand prize, as well as second and third prizes of $500,000 and $250,000, respectively. The judging panel included legendary venture capitalist Tim Draper, LaunchTN CEO Lindsey Cox, singer-songwriter Jessie James Decker, and investor/former NFL player Eric Decker.
EVRCOOL manufactures sustainable, ultra-compact process chillers designed for heavy industrial use. By engineering maximum cooling capacity into a minimal footprint, the company helps manufacturers cut carbon footprints and operating costs.
"Taking the stage to pitch to Tim Draper and this incredible panel was a massive milestone for us," said Josh Roby, co-founder of EVRCOOL. "This feature validates that the industrial sector is ready for smarter, greener, and more serviceable cooling technology."
Following a tight competition with top Tennessee startups, EVRCOOL is now entering the global viewer-voting round. Winning the wildcard vote will secure their spot in the final round to compete for the ultimate $1 million prize.
