The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day production of the EVRCOOL manufacturing facility, including component manufacturing, product assembly and in house service. They will work to ensure production goals are met while ensuring all safety and quality processes are followed. They will be responsible for the development of production Supervisors and Assembly Technicians. The production manager is responsible for short to midterm production planning as well as involved in the strategic operations plan.

• Follow all safety rules and ensure adherence to all safety rules by others
• Assist in developing and updating safety programs
• Ensure safety training is up to date for all employees in the department
• Monitor plant for safety issues and ensure safety reporting and investigations are completed in a timely manner
• Manage and grow supervisors and other direct reports and provide support and guidance to them
• Conduct regular feedback meetings with direct reports (1-on-1s, performance evaluations, etc.)
• Oversee short-term to midterm production schedules and ensure plans are followed to meet delivery dates
• Responsible for labor cost metrics
• Ensure preventative maintenance tasks are performed as prescribed by operators
• Develop new ideas, production processes and systems and improve existing ones
• Manage production related improvement projects
• Ensure that all operators follow the procedures and work instructions of the quality management system
• Perform and monitor deviation reporting for out of print parts and schedule associated rework in a timely manner
• Perform and participate in corrective action processes and root cause analysis to continually improve product quality and processes
• Active involvement in improving the quality system
• Independently develop and update procedures and work instructions
• Develop new and existing staff, evaluate skills of direct reports and teams keeping in mind that we want to grow as a company and as individuals
• Create improvement plans for direct reports, and ensure execution of these plans
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
• Will be required to drive and travel on occasion on company business

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Associates Degree in Business Management preferred
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as supervisor in a manufacturing environment
• Required to sit or stand and move about the facility
• Occasional lifting of items not to exceed 50 lbs.
• Required to use safety glasses and shoes while performing specific tasks or while in specific areas of the plant
• Combination of office and plant environment
• Exposed to any number of elements, but none present to the extent of being disagreeable
